An energising yet calming new breakfast choice. This delicious matcha green smoothie bowl is perfect for clean, lean and greener energy. It’s thick, creamy, naturally sweet, refreshing and super nourishing, without processed ingredients or refined sugars. Great because you can add any healthy toppings. Want to feel like you are eating dessert for breakfast but without guilt?
2 ripe bananas, frozen, sliced
¼ cup (41g) ripe pineapple, frozen, chopped
¾-1 cup (180-240ml) light coconut milk
2 teaspoons Fubuki Culinary Organic Matcha
1 heaped cup (35g) organic spinach or kale
Optional: your selection of chia seeds, sliced banana, coconut flakes, or fresh berries
- Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor on a high setting, and combine until smooth and creamy. Pause, occasionally, to remove the mixture from the sides. If desired, add more coconut milk for a thinner consistency.
- Divide the mixture between two serving bowls and add your favourite toppings. Enjoy!
Note: Keep your smoothie somewhere between drinkable and scoop-able. It tastes best when fresh, though you can keep it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
